TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- Information on how to enter and the prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
- Entry into the promotion is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over.
- The Promoter is Tassal Operations Pty. Ltd. (ABN 38 106 324 127) of 1 Franklin Wharf, Hobart, Tasmania 7000. Telephone 03 9092 0703.
- Employees and their immediate family of the Promoter, Participating Outlets (as defined below), and agencies associated with the promotion are ineligible to enter.
- Employees means any directors, management, employees, concessionaries, consultants, officers and contractors or other such people who perform work for the promoter under the control of another in exchange for payment.
- Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or stepchild (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
- The Promoter is responsible for determining whether a person is an eligible entrant at its sole and absolute discretion. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
- Entrants must be individuals only and cannot be acting on behalf of an organisation or group.
- Entries into the promotion open at 12:01 AM AEST on 01/11/2025 and close at 11:59 PM AEDT on 13/12/2025 (“Promotional Period”).
- Participating Outlets in the promotion are Preston Fresh Seafood Cairns, Seafood Warehouse, The Fish Factory, The Prawn Shop Home Hill (each a “Participating Outlet”).
- To be eligible to enter into the promotion, individuals must purchase a minimum of 1kg of Tassal Aussie Tiger Prawns (as defined below), from a Participating Outlet during the Promotional Period (“Qualifying Transaction”). Individuals must ensure they obtain a purchase receipt for the Qualifying Transaction.
- To enter, individuals must then visit: https://www.tassal.com.au/win-a-yeti/, follow the prompts to the promotion entry page, and input the requested details (including their first name, last name, valid email address, phone number, date of birth, contact phone number, participating outlet and image of their receipt) and submit the fully completed entry form so it is received during the Promotional Period.
The following are “Participating Tassal Aussie Tiger Prawns” in the Promotion:
- 1kg Tassal Aussie Tiger Prawns Raw
- 1kg Tassal Aussie Tiger Prawns Cooked
- Multiple entries permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one (1) entry permitted per Qualifying Transaction (regardless of the number of Participating Tassal Aussie Tiger Prawns purchased in excess of one (1) in that transaction); (b) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with the entry requirements; and (c) unrecognised receipts will be deemed invalid.
- There is a limit of one (1) Prize per person
- Entrants must retain their original purchase receipt(s) for all entries as proof of purchase. Failure to produce proof of purchase for all entries when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of an entrant’s entries and forfeiture of any right to a prize. Purchase receipt(s) must clearly specify the product purchased, the store of purchase and that the purchase was made during the Promotional Period but prior to entry.
- The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual whom the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
- Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
- A random electronic prize draw will take place Tassal Operations Pty. Ltd, 8 Parkview Drive, Quad 1, Level 2, Sydney Olympic Park, NSW, 2127 on 15/12/2025 at 9AM AEDT. The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries and record them in order in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn. The winner will be notified in writing within two (2) business days of the draw and their last name, first initial and postcode, will be published on https://www.tassal.com.au/win-a-yeti/ from 15/12/2025. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The first valid entry drawn per participating outlet, will win a YETI Tundra 65 valued at up to AUD $550. Prize is to be collected from the participating outlet the winner purchased from. Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the Prize are not included. Any unused balance of the Prize will not be awarded as cash. Redemption of the Prize is subject to any terms and conditions of the issuer including those specified on the Prize.
- The following conditions apply to for the Prize:
- As a condition of accepting the Prize, the Prize winner and his/her companion must sign any legal documentation and any form required by the Promoter and/or Prize providers at their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.
- Participation in the Prize is subject to such other terms and conditions as may be imposed by those involved in providing other goods or services included in the Prize (“Third Party Terms”). The Prize winner and his/her companion are responsible for compliance with all applicable Third Party Terms and bear all risks associated with failure to comply with any of them.
- The Prize cannot be (in whole or in part) sold, re-sold, scalped, auctioned, raffled, pledged, offered for resale at a premium (including via online auction sites) or used for advertising, charity fundraising, promotion or other commercial purpose including but not limited to competitions and trade promotions or to enhance demand for other goods or services. If the Prize, or part of the Prize, is sold or used in breach of this condition, the Prize, or part of the Prize, may be cancelled by the Promoter.
- All costs associated with or arising in respect of the Prize not provided for in these terms and conditions are the responsibility of the Prize winner.
- The total value of all prizes available to be won is up to AUD $550.
- Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason a winner does not take or redeem a prize (or an element of the prize) at or by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize (or that element of the prize) will be forfeited.
- If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
- Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash unless otherwise specified.
- The winner(s) must claim their prizes by 11:59pm AEDT on 31/12/2025. A draw for any unclaimed prizes may take place on 05/01/2026 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. The winner(s), if any, will be notified in writing within two (2) business days of the draw and their last name, first initial and postcode will be published on https://www.tassal.com.au/win-a-yeti/ from 05/01/2026.
- Entrants consent to the Promoter and Participating Outlets using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
- If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
- Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
- Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes, or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees, and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special, or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.
- Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of or taking of a prize.
- The Promoter collects personal information (“PI“) in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this PI. The Promoter will also use and handle PI as set out in its Privacy Policy (see clause 38 below). All entries become the property of the Promoter. Unless otherwise indicated by the Promoter, the Promoter may disclose PI to entities outside of Australia (for a list of the countries, see the Promoter’s Privacy Policy), and cannot guarantee that any overseas recipient will not breach the Australian Privacy Principles. By entering the promotion entrants consent to the overseas transfer on these terms as permitted by the Australian Privacy Principles and agree that the Promoter is not liable in this regard.
OPTING OUT TO HEAR FROM THE PROMOTER
- Should an entrant consent to receiving future information from the Promoter via placing a tick in the ‘opt in’ box featured on the Promotion entry site, the information provided by the entrant will be entered into a database and cannot used by the Promoter, the Promoter’s related entities and agencies engaged by the Promoter, for promotional and marketing purposes including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Should an entrant who elects to opt-in wish to opt-out or access or update their information held by the Promoter at any time, they can contact the Promoter using the contact details contained in the privacy policy.

- The privacy policy contains information on:
- how an entrant may access the PI that is held by the Promoter and seek correction of such information; and
- how an entrant may complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles or a registered privacy code that binds the Promoter, and how the Promoter will deal with such a complaint.

- The Promoter is bound by all applicable privacy laws.
