Pan Fried Gochujang Salmon

METHOD

Step 1

Cook rice according to packet directions.

Step 2

Combine gochujang and olive oil. Brush over both sides of salmon.

Step 3

Preheat a non -stick pan or BBQ to a medium heat . Cook for 7 minutes on first side, then turn and cook for a further 7 minutes on the other side or until cooked to your liking.

Step 4

Boil the kettle and pour boiling water over broccolini. Stand for 1 minute and drain.

Step 5

Serve broccolini topped with salmon and enjoy with steamed rice and lime.

Ingredients:

1 x 300g pack Tassal Fresh Tassie salmon ( 2 portions), skin off
1 cup long grain rice
1 teaspoon Gochujang ( Korean paste)
1/2 tablespoon olive oil
1 bunch broccolini
lime wedges, to serve

Note: Gochujang is found in all major supermarkets in the International isle. It is available in a bright red tub. Made from fermented rice, wheat and red chilli peppers. It has a savoury, sweet, and spicy fermented condiment.
