Mini Hot Smoked Salmon Tarts with Crème fraîche & Capers

METHOD

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease a 24 capacity mini muffin tray.

Step 2

Lay out a sheet of filo pastry and brush lightly with butter, top with another sheet and repeat until all sheets are layered. Cut the sheet of filo pastry into 4 long strips then cut each strip into 6 squares.

Step 3

Press each square into the mini muffin tray and then bake in the oven for 10 mins or until golden.

Step 4

Meanwhile combine the Crème fraîche, capers and dill in a bowl. Once the filo tarts are cooled fill them with the Crème fraîche mixture and then top with flaked salmon. Garnish with more capers and dill and enjoy!

4 sheets filo pastry
2 Tbsp butter, melted
100g Crème fraîche
1 Tbsp Capers, finely chopped + more to garnish
1 tsp dill, finely chopped + more to garnish
